About Me

    My name is Sean, and I am a Linn-Benton Community College student currently taking the Photojournalism course. I intend on getting my transfer degree, from which point I plan to pursue Ecology or a related field, such as Wildlife Science. I grew up over near the Oregon Coast, on the Siletz River to be specific. Growing up surrounded by so much nature, I got into doing recreational nature photography of my surroundings. I took this class to expand upon that experience, and to put me out of my comfort zone, as I am not used to taking photos of people and public places.

    My goals for this course are to refine my photography skills, including how to properly use a camera, to gain experience taking pictures of people, and to understand what goes into publishing said photos. I want to achieve these goals so that I can utilize these skills in the future, either at this school, or for any other institutions I may attend in the future.
